@quid : in my opinion, you are an old retired mathematician from number theory. You are in a process of giving your knowledge and skills to younger (instead of asking new questions). Your old age could explain the wisdom and the neutral tone of your comments. You don't say your real name maybe because you're very famous in your domain and you don't want to be annoyed.
@SébastienPalcoux: re question, so far a good one did not come to mind. re engaged, mainly for fun, but also since some things make me nervous so I try to influence them to make them better (in my subjective view), re mod, there were no elections after I joined :-) Kidding aside, neither would I want to be one, nor would I be elected, and even if, I think some would have major issues with a pseudonymous mod, so.
