@Feeds I understand the downvote - some users might be opposed to the idea of synonymizing and merging these two tags. But I am not sure I understand the close vote - this seems to me as a legitimate question for Meta MathOverflow.

In the past I encountered the following: the edit was impossible because the minimal number of changed characters shouuld be (I think 6). Ali, this is due to the fact that my experience points are above a certain threshold: when your reputation rises above said threshold (which I think is 3000, but I'm not sure) you can do even small corrections. Obviously, when you go below that threshold, the "number of characters" is applied again. — Daniele Tampieri6 hours ago

Ali, I think only admins have access to such kind of tools. Nevertheless I found that, according to the privilege list, the threshold is 2000 and not 3000. I hope this can help you. — Daniele Tampieri5 hours ago
