There are now 840 questions with deprecated tags, compared to 850 on April 20.
I am not sure whether the users on MO disagree that those tags should be deprecated. (Although I haven't seen objections on meta.) Or whether they simply do not care about tags.
The fact that the tag-excerpts include the information that the tags are deprecated (and they were also edited by one of the mods - François G. Dorais - at some point) makes it at least to some extent "official": mathoverflow.net/posts/233412/revisions mathoverflow.net/posts/230820/revisions mathoverflow.net/posts/134828/revisions
Some stats on how many users contributes to their removal can be seen using SEDE queries here: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/10243/2019/4/28 For (abstract-algebra) there are only two users with at least ten tag-edits removing this tag. (And François G. Dorais with 5 edits, quid with 4 edits, other users one or two retags of this type.)

For (discrete-mathematics) I have edited the tag away in some posts, 7 edits by YCor, 5 edits by Rodrigo de Azevedo, 3 edits by quid and François G. Dorais, 2 edits Joseph O'Rourke and some users with a single edit. data.stackexchange.com/mathoverflow/revision/1038477/1282560/…
The tag (geometry) is definitely the tag where users have been most active in removals, 3 users with at least 100 such retags, and then three more users with at least 10 such retags. data.stackexchange.com/mathoverflow/revision/1038477/1282560/…
