Is there actually a difference between these two tags - and ? Of the two, only (mathematical-software) has non-empty tag-info.
There are two recently created tag, is probably ok, I am not entirely sure about . It's usually not the best idea use a word with several differen meanings as the tag-name.

Q: Train intersection problem with unequal speeds

David G. StorkAs shown in this question, it is trivial to schedule trains running either north-south or east-west in a square city along randomly placed (vertical and horizontal) tracks and ensure that two trains always meet at track intersections--so long as all trains have the same speed. What are the condi...

Q: When does the constant diagram functor preserve fibrant objects in the injective model structure on diagram categories?

Eduardo J. DubucWhen does the constant diagram functor preserve fibrant objects in the injective model structure on diagram categories? For example, this is the case when the index category of the diagrams is a cofinite filtered poset (see Edwards and Hastings "Čech and Steenrod Homotopy Theories with Applicati...

Q: Aggregate-Loss Models

Lewis TI'm currently struggling with understanding aggregate loss models so any help would be much appreciated. You are given that E[(S-30)+] = 8, E[(S-20)+] = 12 The only possible aggregate claim in (20, 30] is 22, with fs(22) = 0.1 Calculate Fs(20).

@MartinSleziak To add to my question about software-related tags, I will add that some programs also have separate tag. For example, , , , , and maybe some others I did not notice.
At math.SE we also have the (computer-algebra-systems) tag for CAS software in general. On MO there is - I am not sure to which extent this can be considered analogous tag.

@MartinSleziak When I look at the list of synonyms I see that François G. Dorais created a synonym $\to$ .
That might be completely unrelated to me mentioning the tag here in chat, but at least I might get the impression that what I write here is not completely useless. (If nothing else, I was not the only person to notice the new tag.)

10:16 AM
I have posted on meta suggestion for synonym $\to$ - I have mentioned these two tags today.

A: Help improve tagging!

Martin SleziakWe have two tags called mathematical-software and software. The latter has currently empty tag-info and the tag-excerpt for mathematical-software currently says: Mathematical questions related to mathematical software systems such as Sage, Mathematica, Maple, Pari/GP, and GAP. Note that troub...

I have also suggested $\to$ . I have mentioned the (concavity) tag here in chat before.

A: Help improve tagging!

Martin SleziakWe have convexity tag - it has empty tag wiki, but I understand the tag broadly as stuff related to convexity, convex functions, convex sets, etc. (Of course, for some of such questions convex-analysis or convex-geometry are more suitable.) For some time there was concavity tag, see here. The ta...

I see that you have created (celestial-mechanics) tag. It might be useful to create also tag-wiki or at least tag-excerpt. It might help other users to use the tag correctly. (This is probably not a problem here, since the tag name seems to be descriptive enough.) Another reason is that the tags used on only one question are automatically deleted after certain time unless they have tag-wiki. — Martin Sleziak 2 mins ago

The tag-excerpt for semiabelian-categories was suggested.

And it was already approved.

And Alexandre Eremnko created celestial-mechanics tag-excerpt.
