That is still a lot, but significantly less than the total of nearly 700 questions tagged geometry.

The tag geometry currently contains 550 questions. The tag tag-removed contains 391 questions.
Now geometry tag contains 500 questions. The recent decrease is mainly due to edits and bumps by Joseph O'Rourke (which he announced also on meta).

@François Dorais: Concerning the tag geometry, there are about 500 questions with that tag which do not also have a geometry-related tag: https://mathoverflow.net/questions/tagged/geometry+-dg.differential-geometry+-mg‌​.metric-geometry+-ag.algebraic-geometry+-gt.geometric-topology
If we take questions with that tag which do not also have a geometry-related tag as a measurement, they went down from 500 to 315 in those four years.
