Can someone provide their opinion on the following matter? The question mathoverflow.net/questions/145279/… does not directly concern PDEs, but appears in the study of certain PDEs (as mentioned in the question body). Initially, it had a couple of tags about PDEs, which I removed because the question did not concern PDEs.

Considering the body of the question (see also the OP's comment below it), and the possibility that people in parabolic PDEs may be more familiar with this problem, would this question be better with the tags about PDEs?
