sir I have never been to a chem classes on qm,what different exp u had when u learned QM as a PHY and chem student can u share?

In chemistry we are not really interested in the fundamental principles of QM. Usually we are just interested in calculating the wavefunctions for molecules.

So there is a lot of detail on approximate methods like LCAO and MO, or in advanced classes Hartree-Fock methods.

For example I don't think I ever heard the term Hilbert space used in a chemistry QM lecture but they are fundamental in the physics lectures.
