5:21 AM
@JackRod Wow :-(
How do you feel this morning?

good
just littile bit coughing
an unimaginable painful
fever

:-(
What do you think it is? Obviously not covid if you aren't coughing much.
You're at college aren't you? Are they looking after you there?

5:40 AM
yes I am in a isolation
actually my room mate had a high fever few days ago
so now I am

Ah, then that's where you caught it.

actually i had a sore throat day before yesterday
so I had taken his cough syrup and in morning I had fever with **unimaginable body pain

I guess you can't work when you have a fever. How are you passing the time? Just resting?

actually I could not even get up from bed
till this morning
rashes in eyes

So you are recovering then? That's good.

5:44 AM
at least best thing we had a excellent doctor
he just gave me 3 pills for three days

Your college seems to be pretty good. They looked after you well after the problem with the robers.

even my sis is suffering from this
actually sir I need ur help
@JohnRennie
I just downloaded bluestack
it asked me to activate hardware-assisted virtualization

Aha, OK. You're planning to test Android apps on Windows?

yes
actually I want to use whatsapp
my phone battery has some issue and I am in fever so I could not get a new one

5:50 AM
yes
what actually it is?
what does virtuliation mean

Do you know about virtual machines?

yes

Hardware virtualisation is just a feature of Intel CPUs that makes virtual machines more efficient.
I hav to admit I don't know exactly how this works.

is it safe to allow it

My guess is that Bluestacks works as a virtual machine so enabling the feature on the CPU will make it faster.
It's quite safe, and in fact on most computers it is enabled by default.

5:55 AM
it is not running play store or anything else

Look in Task Manager:
Does it show virtualisation enabled?

it is disabled

Aha, then yes you should enable it in the bios.
This is safe to do.
What model is your PC? I'll Google for how to enable virtualisation.

hp pavillion

6:02 AM
I got this
I have amd with intel

Be careful when in the BIOS settings. Don't change anything except what you need to change.

sir can u guide from here
I mean u write steps I will follow it

I can't write the steps because I don't know exactly how to do it on your laptop, but I can talk you through it if you want.

ok

Do you want to do it now?

6:05 AM
yes

In the web page you linked look at the section: 3. Enter BIOS to enable Virtualization.
This explains how you can enter the laptop BIOS settings from Windows.
You need to follow those instructions to get into the laptop BIOS.
Ah, wait, we can't talk when you re in the bios because your phone is down ...

yes
I am on pc
that is what I am going to ask
there are many step it asked me to shut down
or restart in between
sir do u know any other android simulator

Bluestacks is the most widely used Android simulator. Is the problem just that the Play Store isn't there? If so that's because the Play Store has to be manually installed on all Android simulators.

it is there but there is nothing on screen
I am black no response

I don't know why it isn't working. I can download and try it on a test PC if you want.

6:15 AM
ok sir

Give me a few minutes and I'll try it.

6:26 AM
@JohnRennie any progress sir

This is what I got. I deliberately disabled virtualisation to make it the same as your laptop:

ok

It looks as if you have an older version of Bluestacks.
Did you download it from bluestacks.com ?

no
yes I had downloaded it moths before from a unkown website

Hmm, OK.

6:32 AM
should I uninstall this one? are u able to to run play store?

I would uninstall it, then download from the Bluestacks web site.

are able to run play store?

Give me a moment and I'll try.
However note that I don't think WhatsApp will work on a PC, or indeed anything except a phone.
That's because it needs a phone number to work.
Yes, the Play Store works.

6:46 AM
thanks sir

Let me know how you get on.

7:40 AM
WhatsApp did work on my test install of Bluestacks.
But it ends a verification code to your phone, so unless your phone is working you won't be able to log into WhatsApp on your PC.
Can you get a friend to charge your phone for you?

7:56 AM
i downloaded it
but it take time to load play store
may be this pc need service

8:25 AM
sir which mobile phone show in bluestack
like in mine it is showing oneplus
@JohnRennie

Yes, I got the same.
Maybe Bluestacks is set up to emulate a OnePlus phone ...
Aha, yes apparently you can configure Bluestacks to emulate different phones, and by default it emulates a OnePlus 3T.

8:46 AM
lol
my speed of bluestack is slow
that it some times stops

It may be slow because virtualisation is not installed.

yes
actually for time being I am solving an interesting math problem
do u want to try it was in oxford enterance exam

9:03 AM
You can post it, but I'm a bit busy at the moment so I may not be able to look at it until later.

$sin^2(1^\dgree)+sin^2(2^\degree)...............................sin^2(n^\degree)$

If $n = 90°$ then I think you can do this using $\sin^2x = 1 - \cos^2x$. But I don't know how to do it if $n \ne 90°$.
