@quid Saad, Jitendra, with many of us wondering the same, have gone a week without response to comments to Xander, etc., after noticing, and many of noticed the uptick, in low rep (50) bounties place by one user, or a sponsor, on questions destined for closure, to essentially "buy" another week, while avoiding closure. I encouraged Jitandra to post on meta: math.meta.stackexchange.com/questions/33786/…

Can I get some mod support here on meta? The post should be close for the reason I gave, and I'm getting really tired of meta being used to sponsor disgruntled users bringing other disgruntled users to support them. He, the OP, is still being snarky in his comments , one of which I flagged for mod attention, go figure. But thus far only a supporter joining in the snarky-anti-amwhy campaign has shown up.

@AlexanderGruber Agreed. I guess we all need to discuss how to best implement it. For example, the Sponsors (and everybody else) can advertise their projects in that chatroom. But opinions may differ whether they can also advertise in, say, a dedicated meta thread. I sorta see the point of using meta to get even more visibility. But such ads would necessarily also draw attention to the person of the sponsor, and that is not the point. Other things will also need to be sorted out. Later...

Unresolved past bounties will likely provide some useful material. Depending on whether they tickle the fancy of an interested sponsor :-)

@AlexanderGruber You mean The Sponsor's Lounge? Or did you think of a better name? Absolutely! Count me in!

Just a bit misleading re: a bachelor program. Anyway, s/he seems to have consulted (mods I hope). Any way, is SE or MSE willing to sponsor have MSE University?

PMA's? Actually, five in all. (But I sort of cheated. I sponsor a Math Club at a local high school; we meet monday, thursday, and saturdays when theirs a math competition or such. Some of the students have very wealthy parents, but three of the students I'm working with (14, 14, 15) have already passed AP Calculus, but their parents have little money to supplement their kids education, beyond the public schools. So yesterday, I gave them each a copy of PMA (behind the scenes).
