Spring plot summery: Girl gets magical stick thing from a weird creature to bring spring to the valley. Cliff hanger is when she drops the stick. The stick thing takes a long bouncing, tumbling path down to the edge of a cliff. Dog saves the day (its a stick after all), and spring comes.
