if you cant enjoy a well made meal of fresh ingredients, the fascinating curves and goosebumpy skin of a person, a handcrafted beer or wine that time tooks its gentle touch to form, or go outside and smell the season change in the air, you are a robot.
when you are starting out, you don't know enough about what you want to do to make the "right" decision and by the time you do, you'll know what the right decision is
I guess it just would have been nice to let the community decide on that one if it was worth closing. I'd still argue that storage media is related enough to photography as the features of an SD card do impact how well it works in a camera. And we do have other questions about SD card speed
It seems pretty likely that the issue here is that the OP is a) annoyed that someone took their photo without asking, or b) the OP likes the photo that someone took of them and wants to use it without having to pay for it. Maybe some photographer took photos of all the cars at the event and then approached the drivers to try to sell them? (That's a very common business model at sporting events, btw.)
My gut tells me it is a bad investment, though. I told him I think a photography course is a better investment. In fact, I asked him to join me in the online course I'm taking, but he seems more interested in watching endless reviews of the X-T2 on YouTube than watching the course videos with me.

@aaaaaa I'm all for including images in answers when they are helpful to illustrate the answer. I don't think it is necessary or would even be advisable to require an example image in every case. Many questions can be very well answered without an image.
@AJHenderson Yeah, Apple make great laptops, but I've decided that I won't buy another Mac. I disagree with the direction the company has gone in and can't ethically justify buying their products anymore...
