:53978242 I hope you have debugged your SPI wiring and tested SPI loopback OK.  After that I think you can go back to square 1 and tried either your first or second tutorial.  There is 50% chance that both of them works, though one using python 2 and there other python 3.  I am making little progress in try to replace Rpi4B buster's SpiDev to replace Mario GoMez's SpiDev and GPIO.  So I suspend this part and go back to goggle more to learn.
