@MarkTrapp Missing that "clean up efforts and posse calls grow at a geometric rate" type of line, but the sense is all there

Is it Jay? On the podcast he has the voice of a young NPR star like Ira Glass or that one from radiolab

"looking at people freaking the hell out in haunted houses is perhaps the best thing ever" I concur http://www.funnyordie.com/slideshows/8136d5acb1/pictures-of-people-freaking-out-in-a-haunted-house-2012-edition

@random What is this? WHAT IS THIS?

It's a conga line of when the wind changes

You've only just started the slideshow

11:00 PM
I just finished. I did the "all on one page" vie.
I don't do haunted houses, because I just cling to someone. :(

awww
we can cling to one another? :D

Only if you can drag me through it. Since clinging also usually involves cowering in a corner. X(
EARTHQUAKE!

11:16 PM
@ThomasOwens aww poor booboo

sketti sketti sketti!

oh boy

I'm annoyed by "this page has been updated" banners like on Twitter or even Stack Overflow. Refresh the page, keep focus where I currently am, a la Google+.

most people hate the opposite

I prefer the notification to nothing.
But G+ does it right. Whatever I'm looking at stays in focus. I can just scroll up to see the new stuff.

11:24 PM
meh

Right now, my Twitter is exploding with "n new Tweets", mostly about the earthquake.

oh

Thank you for telling me, now, I have to do something. And when I click this button, I'll be at the top of the list. It is far less annoying on low volume sites, like SE sites, where there are fewer (but usually more significant) changes.

poor baby.

Twitter works with that "in place read, up top load" system when you're viewing the US Presidential debate page they set up. You'll be on a tweet and then everything up above had loaded and you just scroll up when you're ready
