yeah. i never know who to make eye contact with in conference rooms...the guy at the head of the table seems right, but so does the person who asked the last question, so it's tough
people love to complain more than they love to compliment...so it's good (i made a point of sending an email to hushmail support telling them how awesome their spam filtering was)

after sufficient bug heat, status should be set to won't fix and it should be filed against ubuntu in general, not any particular package...just saying
My screen saver will go black which is fine. Then after a period of time I return to my PC and i turn my computer on (Out of sleep mode) then it freezes.
I don't want to do that as I leave my machine on for extended period of time and I have 2x very expensive monitors and I would like to avoid screen burn

Well, I guess the "bounty" is more about giving you extra priority by providing it on the front page. So you must "pay" for that, it's not about the answer itself. It's like advertisement on a web page: even if nobody clicks on the ad, people who wanted to advertise something had to "buy" the place that ad is shown. I am not related to the askubuntu.com team or such, but I guess this is the answer: bounty "fee" is about handling your question with priority (like showing it on the front page) and it's nothing about the answers. Do you know about auto-complete? When typing a path in the terminal, type a letter or 2 then hit the <tab> key and it will complete the name of the folder/file for you. — ubnewbie21 min ago

I would suggest create a question - you can answer it yourself. If it is thought to be a duplicate - no worries - your answer can always be merged into the master question.

If it's not possible then maybe just the Dash show/hide animations. I simply find myself waiting for animations which is pointless.
