Does anybody know what DynamicLocation, DynamicName and DynamicNamespace do?
These symbols appear in
rot = 1.3;
Graph[{1 -> 2, 2 -> 1}, VertexSize -> {1 -> 0.3, 2 -> 0.2},
  VertexStyle -> Opacity[0.1], PerformanceGoal -> "Quality",
  VertexShapeFunction -> (Polygon@
      CirclePoints[#1, {Max[#3], rot}, 3] &)] // Show
(Can't upload image for some reason.)
The amazing thing about this is that the arrowtips are just touching the triangles, regardless of what rotation (rot) I choose. This works for other shapes too.
This is achieved through DynamicLocation, which appears to compute the endpoints directly in the front end, depending on the particular vertex shape.
Is SE imgur down for everyone else too? No images load here.

This runs couple of minutes and returns Failure

@Szabolcs nice finding, I've seen it before but didn't have time to investigate.

@Kuba It's finals week at my institution, and that sums up just how the students feel.

@MichaelE2 strange, I knew immediately if I was about to return a Failure :)

FE crash after hitting back button on the doc center. Restart: Cannot find the kernel with the name "" (empty string). I say, no wonder. 2nd restart: all seems well. :) I guess. (V11.1.1, MacOS)

Is there a way to get rid of mesh from contour plot exported as .svg ?

this is the kind of image I am getting even if I export it as pdf imgur.com/cMRDUs5

@psimeson Did you save it with Export?
If yes, can you try to make a right-click on the image and Save as?

8:56 PM
exported as well as saved as pdf...both gave me same result
I can't save as svg...but can only export as svg

@psimeson Anyway, the issue itself is well known. Start looking here

Q: Avoiding white lines inside filled area in RegionPlot exported as PDF or PS

celtschkWhen doing a RegionPlotand then exporting (or saving from the front end) as PDF or EPS, there are small white lines in the filling of the region. Here's an example created with RegionPlot[x^2+y^2<1,{x,-1,1},{y,-1,1},PlotStyle->Black]: Is there any way to prevent those white lines while keeping ...
