@NapoleonWilson Awwww. Well, that time is comfortable to me. I just don't have vacation time left. I need to change my vacation from vacation to bereavement, though. That's why I need to speak with her. If they will give me that, I will still have vacation left. That's what I'm trying to do.
@AnkitSharma I had never heard of it before I saw it, either. I need to get together with your sister :P
So then how could you be "annoyed how everyone else in the frigging world thinks that movie is the best thing ever" when watching it the first time? ;-P
@steelersquirrel To discourage people from downvoting answers for stupid reasons? The great strength of the SE system is in providing expert answers to reasonable questions, and if people were downvoting answers all the time just because they didn't like them or whatever, it would reduce the value of a great answer.
Where on earth do you get that U from? That image is bollocks, it shows thingies on cricles with thingies between them, and has "Initial Velocity" written above it. Is that some British in-joke?
I have been thinking about the communication between team members in the Avengers movies, primarily when they talk over their team radio net. It seems like they have very little radio discipline in the fact that it always seems like they are using each others names. This seems dangerous as their ...
@steelersquirrel I think I joined puzzles because someone once posted a movie quiz there and I participated. I do like riddles, but the ones there are either way too hard or solved too quickly ;)
@steelersquirrel He means you should upvote a post based on it's quality rather then the guy who posted it. So if u see good post in other site, joining it to upvote is fine
@steelersquirrel I'm convinced they were so proud of T3 and disappointed by the reviews, they made 4 solely so T3 would look like a masterpiece by comparison
Himarm in all honors, but the nature of his political discussions is not something the SE moderators haven't broadly noticed. Nothing against him, that's just how it is.
You have to prepare. Get yourself some street and car noises on tape for the occasional "shopping trip". And practice simulating signal loss when you're "at your dad's".
Oh, God. That's far too much work. I would fess up way before I would go through all of that trouble. Wow. I wouldn't even think about background noises and stuff. How impressive! ;)
In Person of Interest Season 2 Episode 16 "Relevance", Hersh grabs Shaw from behind and injects her with poison and she collapses. Later, Carter and Fusco tell the officer on the scene that it was an overdose and tell him to get some coffee. The officer leaves and they tell Leon, posing as an EMT...
Yes, as you provide evidence of, they have terrible radio discipline. Trigger discipline too. Obviously this is due to the medium, movies and comics are verbal and the film makers need you to relate to human (ish) characters in a short amount of time. Sticking to radio silence and code names wou...

All he says is that the cops can't help but have to assume she was killed somehow simply because foul play was already involved in the poisoned pills and since they don't know if she jumped or was thrown, they have to assume that where one attempted murder is, there might be more.
@NapoleonWilson No, but he's saying that it clouded her judgment. Which, I don't even think they would be in her system if they knew the pills were laced with poison. They would still be undigested in her stomach.
He might not express that too well in his answer, but I'm pretty sure that's what he says and it makes sense. Of course it would be stupid to assume the poison caused the suicide, but they just can't treat it as suicide when they already know she was poisoned too.
Someone getting stabbed in the back and then running in front of a car isn't treated as a car accident victim either.
@steelersquirrel Yeah, that's the part I don't like about the answer so much either. The point isn't that the poison clouded her judgement, rather than that it might and noone knows any better. In fact Dixie could as well have thrown her off the balcony. All they know is someone tried to kill her and minutes later she died.
Yeah, but, that didn't cause her death. Blunt force trauma did. Nobody would even know if that poison would have been fatal in the first place...that's just Grasping at straws, I guess.
@NapoleonWilson Oh, I didn't even know what @Catija was talking about, I just like the word "Popsicle" :P
@NapoleonWilson Really? I always wondered that. Especially since she's so effed up when she jumps. In the original script, she's dropping plants off of the balcony trying to hit different colored cars with them.
@NapoleonWilson Conjuring up spit and snot up through your throat and launching it as far as you can ;). We Americans call it "hocking a loogie". Kinda what Jack teaches Rose to do in Titanic.
Does anyone know the name of the movie where a college/maybe high school teacher makes his students take a nap, and they dream about a trip they go on? In their dreams they see how they die, and it comes true at the end.
This is the line - "Don't know, don't care."
I was stated about someone aloof, and more in admiration than a put down.
I have the line in my head, but can't remember the movie - help!"
A new Netflix animated series Pacific Heat is based in Australia. I am American, and all the accents seem uniform to me except the one used by the brunette female agent.
Her accent is unfamiliar to me, and to my ears it is very distinct. Can anyone tell me what her accent is?
Ever since Trump won office, I've noticed that the Fox News logo has stopped spinning. The banner with the time zones still rotates, but the big blue one that says "Fox News" doesn't spin anymore. Is there a specific reason for this?
It is a chinese movie in which it features a master with a dragon
tattoo on back that he passes on to two students-a boy
with specs and a girl and there is a villain who is also
behind that tattoo.. I can remember a climax scene
between the students and the villain where the tattoo is
passed back...
I watched this film long time ago and I remember plot so vaguely. 16-17 years old boy is the main character of this film, he has a vacation and his parents sending him to their relative's house. This is a big, beautiful house and it's hostess is mysterious old lady who never gets out from his roo...
