this guy posted two spammy As (with links to apparently his travel agency) and now a non-spammy A. Keep an eye out but might just need / have needed a briefing on the rules / disclosing affiliation. travel.stackexchange.com/users/43663/samaneh

@mts that's the person answering all the questions on Iran?

@CMaster yes @JoErNanO for now he has only one useful A up and the spammy ones have already been deleted (not 100% spam, just spammy enough, likely undisclosed affiliation) so we are good for now and I wouldn't bother a mod with it. Just in case they decide to spam again.

I think they are trying to be helpful

Q: uk visa refusal for mrcp paces exam

Yousuf DaudI had applied for uk visa for mrcp paces exam on 23rd june 2016.I am Undergoing Training in cardiology and receiving RS 18000(120 UK POUNDS) per month as stipend.the transaction they have shown is from my mothers account and i can also prove that she supports me financially as i take her monthly ...

live wire, he's taking his refusal on the chin
Please upvote him so he can priv into the chat room, thanks

3:47 PM
==> I guess he abandoned us, but thanks to all who helped

Honestly, I think there's enough "smell" to that application to kill it
Also, using "lac" in the refusal notice really does feel odd
You'd think they'd have a style guide for numbers or something

i lost u people... sorry for that... but m here... please help me out.. my exam is on 23rd june... no one except u people who can help me in this difficult time

@CMaster he's here now
@YousufDaud no point in being dramatic, you are not going to get a UK visa by june

Wait, am I right that TWOV is only possible in the UK if you're staying airside?
gov.uk isn't wonderfully clear on the matter

or by 2016 or by 2020 for that matter

3:56 PM
@YousufDaud did you read the question about Funds Parking?

wats the reason...

basically, that 400,000 transfer to your account, the UK visa people don't believe it's really yours

yes i read it

They think it is just a loan, to make your account look bigger
and that you couldn't actually spend it while in the UK

CMaster: I think TWOV is a red-herring. He has to enter the UK on that connection

3:57 PM
It was a rather severe refusal, they do not believe your bank account or your job

@Berwyn quite possibly. Was just checking that my assertion in the answer "TWOV is only applicable if you don't pass immigration" was true

i have cheque evidence as well as bank statement evidence that it was given to me by my mother as gift to bear my expenses

Yeah, TWOV is if you stay airside

Also, someone of limited funds, saying they plan to goto a course in Wolverhampton, but staying in the much more expensive London does not sound right

And where did she get the money to give you almost 2 years of salary?

3:59 PM
i have evidences to all that.. in form of bank statements and cheque

Do you have your mother's bank statements? What is her income?

she is owning a house worth 300000 pounds and its rent is around 300 pounds per month...

You don't need to convince us, Yousuf

she has mentioned on affidavit that my son takes the rent of that house to meet his expenses

you need to convince the visa office

4:01 PM
Hey, we're not the Tribunal here

They are concerend that you are going to enter the UK, then stay somewhere other than your hotel reservation, and look for work
and never leave

LHR no scheduled flights between 23:00 and 04:30

yes ur right but with ur help... coz m not a faker n istudied for last 8 months
really hard while doing cardiology residency

The fact that you don't appear to be able to afford this trip makes that seem even more likley

@CMaster This is correct, they believe he will go underground and possibly rely on public funds after that

4:02 PM
As they think your current plan is not something you can actually manage

That's what V 4.2 (a) and (c) together means

(for example, a train ticket to take you from London to Wolverhampton and back, for "normal working hours" - not quite sure what the PACE timetable is - would cost 1.5 times your monthly income!

i have my son n wife here a lot of property and i m specializing in my final year...

@YousufDaud Do you have relatives in London?

And however sad it may be, people studying medicine from pakistan do use the PACE exam to get in to the UK then vanish
The wife and son will help a lot
but you still have to make them believe that you can actually afford the trip

4:05 PM
i do have but i didnt mention any

because right now to them it looks like some silly fantasy

@YousufDaud Why did you not mention any?

coz i didnt intend to go to them

LOL, they didn't ask if you intended to visit them
They asked if you have any

yup but wud it be of any help

4:09 PM
@YousufDaud They are not going to be happy

wat u say

Do you remember signing an agreement with UKVI?

yes

Did your relatives in London ever co-sponsor somebody on a visit visa?

no... i didnt hear of any

4:11 PM
@GayotFow does the application form ask about relatives in the UK?

m confused... i have paid the fee

@CMaster Does that help answer your question?

That's pretty unambigous, yes

Gayot... is there a possibility for reapplication if i explain everything circumstantially

4:16 PM
@CMaster The Tribunal has already decided that it is not an option for the applicant to consider it irrelevant
@YousufDaud you didn't answer my question if your relatives have sponsored someone previously

i didnt hear of any...
they arent v near to our family

@YousufDaud And what's your explanation for staying in London?

The big problem I'm seeing here is the accumulation of not-quite-right: Appearance of funds parking, hotel in wrong city, relatives not listed. Any one of those might be explained away by suitable evidence, but the accumulation could make someone with a suspicious mind doubt whether the declared plan is the real plan.

i intended to take ealing paces course on 18 and 19 of june at london... i intended to pay there n then

@PatriciaShanahan I think the funds parking alone is enough to kill it, although that can be fixed if you can prove provenence

4:22 PM
they are my fathers second cousins... far off relatives
never met em
just heard of em... as such there r a lot of pakistanis who i know but no very close of first relatives

@CMaster you also have apparent lifestyle

I also think you need a credible explanation why you're spending 10 months of your income on this trip. I'm not sure there can be such an explanation

More to the point, why not sit the exam in Pakistan?

exam isnt held in pakistan

4:26 PM
i can on basis of probability but in nxt diet in december... my time my fee n my training period wud be lost not having surity that i get a seat in i ternational center in december
i cant apply in them in this diet

Dr Akram, who is also the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) vice chancellor, said all three parts of the MRCP will be held in Pakistan from June 2016.

its a huge setback to my prof career
yes but this was rebutted by rcp london..

@YousufDaud These events are very disappointing for people

i dont knw u people.. just was reapplying randomnly googled n came across one of ur posts Gayot... it was so coincidental

@YousufDaud what's coincidental?

4:29 PM
i am v dissappointed... all my family members..
to find u people... i must commend u people r doing great by guiding naives like me
hats off to u all

Thing is, most of us on here never have to through this

@YousufDaud how many siblings do you have?

Being from, say the UK, travel is normally very easy

i have 2 younger sisters... both married.
live with my parents wife n one year old son

@YousufDaud Right. Did your mother given them 4 lak each? They are going to think about that

4:33 PM
no, she gave me for my expenses in uk... they didnt require it n live with their own families

yeah, but for UKVI it's a big time question mark

how come... its her will she can do wat she wants.. isnt it

of course she can give you the money, but for your visa application, they know that a lot of people get loaned money to make their applications look better

she has gifted me that mo ey without any coercion

even if that's not what you're doing, it looks like it to UKVI
sure, but I'm not the one you have to convince

4:36 PM
i have evidence because money was transferred via cheque from her to mine account. i have that cheque as well as both bank statements showing that

@YousufDaud of course, but when money appears in a visa application it needs to make sense all the way round

ur right zach lipton
wat shud i do...

@YousufDaud you are likely sincere, from this site if you still want to proceed with a fresh application
you should arrange a skype or telephone consultation with an adviser
in the uk
who is licensed etc etc

can i consult u
or anyone u know

No chance, I left practice.
You can try

4:40 PM
@GayotFow wat does that mean... ur likely sincere

@YousufDaud It's clear you are upset and it's likely you might be a genuine visitor
You can try somebody who is not too expensive

lolz i am... but a naive one who made bad mistakes
from where i can have info
n who is that person called

I got an email from Ian Westwood last week, he's still in practice.
Heaven knows why
But there are lots of them out there

should search on google about ian westwood... n how can he help me
wat is he called

That's just an example. He comes to mind because he wants to start a newsletter

4:45 PM
is he an immigration lawyer or wat

for my personal friends I always recommend Sophie Barrett-Brown youtube.com/watch?v=cCUzCXYNUZI
For sorting out your refusal, she will charge you about GBP 3,600

ok she is an imm lawyer... n approx how much she will charge

But that's IF she took you on, and that's a big IF

ok.. should i call her

Ian would probably charge you about 600 pounds, but not with the success rate that Sophie has
I also send people to Barry O'Leary, chambersandpartners.com/uk/person/212394/barry-o-leary

4:52 PM
ok... i think first she would listen to my case n then if she thinks theres any viable option she will charge me n go ahead isnt it

Those are unquestionably the top three in the UK

okx thanks a lot

If she doesn't think she'll win, she will not take you on
None of them will

one last question

4:54 PM
wat chances you foresee about my reapplication getting succesful

For my view, it's totally hopeless.
But others see differently

so i wont be able to enter uk in future as well

Those people will not take you under client care if they are not convinced you have a chance.

@GayotFow what level of erm, shall we call it absconding, is considered acceptable with visa applications (like a ratio of visas issued:visa conditions broken)?
@YousufDaud if you one day earn the salary of a cardiologist, I imagine your chances will improve considerably

From Pakistan? It's roughly 80 - 100 per WEEK!!!!

4:58 PM
and how many visas do they issue to Pakistanis per week?

seems like lots of alternative locations outside the UK

Lots and lots, tons of them
I get the Home Office forced removals emails,

ok gayot thanks a lot

was just wondering how convincings you have to look
like 1:100 chance of not being "naughty"?
1:1000?
1:100000?

@Berwynyes but not in same diet

5:00 PM
You have to look how Yousuf's lifestyle fits in to the profile

diet?

diet = regimen

i mean attempt

He should not have applied in the first instance, now matters are worse

gayot r u on fb..

5:02 PM
Yes, but only for social contacts. There is only one person in TSE who friends up with me

i want to have friendship with such a nice person... God bless u
was v depressed today... felt relieved

@YousufDaud Relieved but take note that from my view, it's just not going to happen

it doesnt matters... but in tba
but in that process i met a nice n sincere man

See what those practitioners say...
It will be bloody expensive to sort out a V 4.2 a+c.

but nobody's saying that you'll never get a UK visa. You could well stand a good chance in the future if your situation changes

5:08 PM
Frighteningly

and then you could apply to visit without spending a considerable amount of money on legal advice

ok zach thanks to u too n all those who tried to sort it out
yes gayot i am afraid ur right

@ZachLipton you can flag if it is off topic per today's rules. It'll be closed and marked as historical if that's the case.
