Today Mono, it's runtime and the Mono documentation finally dropped all (L)GPL licenses and is now completely available under MIT. So now, the .NET and Mono framework are free from restrictive and reciprocal licenses. IMO that's a massive win for open-source.

I also had that opinion initially, but with windows 10 and universal apps, I think they have a better ecosystem on a whole

I've still yet to figure out why that is. Cortana on android seems silly when it has the native Google app. Ditto for Siri on iOS.

For my homework I have to implement a linked list. One of the things is has to have is a function that takes the head as an argument and returns the first element. Isn't the head the first element?
