if they are seperate partitions, bios dosen't detect the latter, and you have an excellent chance of getting data out if only one partition is faulty

The case is a bit weird, the drive cage gets in the way of the 16x pci slot. 9" is smaller then the full card...

And almost no shopping sites include details about the card length so I have to find the full docs for each card.....

My wife's lab is doing a project here in the US with collaborators in Singapore. They occasionally need to transfer a large amount of image data (~10GB compressed) across continents. With current technologies, what would be a good solution for this usage scenario? I can think of a few but none...

Btw, regarding notability and other criteria on de.WP, I just found this:

We have kind of the opposite problem.

Heh. But it's weird. Have you been involved with WP? Like, editing, moderating?

To me WP is a completely different universe, and it's really hard to see what's going on behind the scenes as a casual user

I'm not made of time. SU is pretty much the only regular online activity I'm currently involved with.

In that regard, SU took the place of WoW. Both use an equally insane amount of my time. Pretty sure it's an improvement though ;)

It's a good game, if you're able to invest the time.

I still own around 800k gold in that game. When I quit, it was worth 600+€

In a way. I'm able to violate Blizzard's terms of service.

But there's always a market.

Still, converted to €/hour it would be totally horrible.

But it's actually a nice multiplayer economy simulation.

@studiohack The number of my typos significantly increased with OS X Lion's automatic spelling correction (similar to iOS, or auto formatting in MS Office). Before then, it would highlight some terms, and I'd fix them. Now it's automatic. It works so well usually that I don't care anymore, so if the spelling correction gets it wrong, the final result will also be wrong.

I can totally imagine me typing hiking boats and not seeing it.
