@msh210 That's interesting that moderator actions are counted as flags
I thought that the idea of "flags" was to flag the attention of someone who has greater levels of privilege to act
like how before 3000 rep one flags for closure but after 3000 rep one votes to close (and it's not counted as a flag)

@Daniel If I flag a comment as obsolete now, it will be deleted right away.
I do that sometimes instead of clicking delete to leave a 'paper' trail of why I deleted it.

@DoubleAA I see
that's another way of interpreting flag
what about (e.g.) deleting questions?
(or answers)

@DoubleAA That's exactly why I do it. cc @Daniel
@Daniel If something is spam or offensive, then I flag it as such in order that the automated processes that result can result.

@DoubleAA "Always knock," eh? But it seems that the deceased actually was up to no good

How was this no caught as OFF TOPIC, I don't understand. Can;t flag as such now that it's got a bounty. — Danny Schoemann yesterday
^ This seems to be correct: the question is about Jews and not Judaism. In addition, the question seems to be asking us to read into the mind of a particular speaker, without even saying who the speaker is, which is unanswerable without reference to the (correct revision of) the WP article, and thus should be closed for that reason also. Thoughts?
^ cc @IsaacMoses @DoubleAA @Daniel who are listed as present in the room or posted here very recently

@msh210 I'm not sure that it's obvious, a priori, that it's not describing a Judaism classification.

@IsaacMoses Fair enough. And to my second objection?
(But I suppose my second objection can be obviated by anyone's editing (into the MY post) the info from the WP article revision as of the time of MY posting.)
@IsaacMoses Similar, I suppose: judaism.stackexchange.com/q/34263

@msh210 "I've heard Jews classifying their own Jewishness with this English term. What does it mean?" assumes that there is a shared meaning. That might be incorrect, but it's not obviously so a priori. The WP reference weakens the case here a little bit, since the WP article puts quotation marks around the term, indicating that it could be the subject's invention, but it wouldn't be hard to find examples of it being used un-self-consciously.
@msh210 That one's stronger, since, on the contrary, it's pretty obvious a priori that "Modern Orthodox" is meant to refer to a kind of Judaism, per se.
