Linux is very versatile, so it will run on a lot of actual hardware that you wouldn't think it could run on. Like calculators, for instance. Thus the joke is that it's so versatile it will actually run on anything.

@Bob G4? You will need to, at a minimum, reboot the G4 once before you start to get problems

for the initial power-on after pairing, and especially during the first connection after pairing, it's fine - unfortunately, that doesn't mean you can reliably unpair and re-pair every time to get a reliable connection; in order to get that "fresh pair" 100% working functionality back, you have to either factory reset or have an OTA applied.

the first connection after the original pairing after an OTA or reset is pretty reliably good (but that might be because background post-update/post-first-boot stuff is keeping the CPU at higher clocks)

First time in more than two years of service.

There's been a few failures in the early days in my early days with Linode which have led to unexpected downtime events. One of them was long enough to get an SLA credit.

Sounds like a disk issue to me.

One disk on the host has probably failed.

(Linode uses either RAID 10 or RAID 6.)

I read that, it's a bit confusing... is the bounty shared equally for all those who answer?

say if I put up a bounty, do I specify who it goes to or do I leave that to the system

@xCare No, just the person the question asker decides to award it to.

It's awarded to the person who the bounty giver selects.

> If you do not award your bounty within 7 days (plus the grace period), the highest voted answer created after the bounty started with a minimum score of 2 will be awarded half the bounty amount. If two or more eligible answers have the same score (i.e., their scores are tied), the oldest answer is awarded the bounty. If there's no answer meeting those criteria, the bounty is not awarded to anyone.

Apart from that rule, it is up to the person posting the bounty as to who gets it

so if the question asker does not award it to the answerer, the bounty will just disappear, even if the answerer did answer the question?

Basically if you ignore the bounty and there are no answers at +2 then it is lost. if someone got +2 votes then they will get half.

@xCare No, you only have +1 at the moment, and most people are more stingy about upvotes on bounties. it has to really be worth it.

Not yet, no. You'd still have to wait 7 days for it to be awarded most likely anyway.

@xCare You get the bounty if you like it or not either by being granted it from the asker, or by the system forcing half of it down your throat after 7 days and only then if you get another upvote.

@xCare There is no way for an answerer to declare "I am right, give me the bounties!" Likewise with normal questions, it is up to the community and the question asker to determine how right you are.

Did any of you upgrade to Office 2016 yet? It turns out that I can't connect to any Exchange servers anymore. Worked fine before I upgraded :P

This is pretty annoying. I also tried removing and re-creating an account, doesn't work. Tells me the Exchange server doesn't exist

And the Repair button for accounts is greyed out now

@CanadianLuke It doesn't like things from the past either.

Exchange 2010 throws a hissy fit if you migrate a calendar with reoccuring meetings that have no end time from 2003.

So Android Marshmallow is nice. Nexus 5 feels snappy again.
