Whew...look at all those visitors we got:
There may be a slight glitch in the stats

@Andy I think it's all of our new advertising! It's working! :D
@MonicaCellio RE this comment-- they should be interpreted in the context of their sites, but only if it is a common term in that field (unless it's a special tag created for a special purpose).
I'm saying that user retention != retention; it's really no different that on The Workplace.
Having only would mostly be associated with a job search (minus search engines), but a job search doesn't come to mind unless it was Jobs Stack Exchange. Having only would mostly be associated with user retention (minus similar things like data retention: e.g. a question about if data should be kept when a user is deleted), but user retention doesn't come to mind unless it was Users Stack Exchange.

@AnnonomusPenguin that must be it!
@AnnonomusPenguin I think retention in the sense of membership retention -- keeping people participating in a community -- is a not-uncommon term, but we can defer this one. @Andy oh look, Worldbuilding is exactly as popular as we are! What a coincidence!

ArtOfCodeWe appear to have gained celebrity status over the past few hours, and are now receiving over 20 million visits per day. According to the Site Stats readout on the side of the page, anyway. Area 51 does not corroborate this. Perhaps the two fell out over something, and Site Stats is making a s...

@MonicaCellio maybe some dev somehow accidentally added up entire network traffic :)

@AnnonomusPenguin it reminds me of a quote I heard long ago (can't find, can't remember a source), something like: from a cosmic perspective, the Solar System consists of the sun, Jupiter, and assorted debris. Similarly, Stack Exchange consists of SO, Server Fault, Super User, and background noise. :-)

haha
Everything revolves around Stack Overflow
And then in the very distance is Careers, which isn't considered a community although it resembles a non-SE community.
