Depends, but it certainly can happen both ways.

Also, note that the anime is commissioned by the manga rights-holder, typically the publisher. If the publisher isn't confident about the anime's profitability, it's better for them to not invest more than they need to into it and continue focusing on the manga. That's usually where they make back their money in the long run.

Even if the anime is terrible and doesn't sell at all, it can still be profitable if it substantially boosts manga readership.

Yeah, the editor has little vested interest in the anime, and a lot in the manga.

I half-suspect that the mangaka will show up later annoyed that they weren't consulting him.

Error I got was "Duplicates in a repeater are not allowed."

I had duplicate values in an array I ngRepeated

And Angular didn't like that

Then I added "track by $index" and it fixed it

@Hakase If you want the kid to have any serious chance of going professional, they need to be practicing daily, and not just for 10 or 20 minutes. At 7, they still have some time, but by age 12-14 certain necessary skills need to be developed, or they'll have a really hard time later.

I guess piano might be different from strings in that respect though.

To put things in perspective, from age 10, I practiced about 2 hours a day until I graduated HS, and was probably only barely good enough to get into an average music school. The competitive people started younger than me and practiced at least twice as much as I did.
