I'm also tempted to remove the generation names from the various iPhone tags.

It's not clear what "generation" the 5c or 5s are and I don't think it helps people know how to use the tags by having that in the tag summary. That level of nomenclature can exist in the wiki portion of the tag IMO.

But not sure about that synonym. the Plus does things the 6 doesn't. It's not just a cosmetic size difference

I just don't see the need to have tags for 6 and plus. The wording in the question will surely address that in terms of search ability.

I'd probably be fine collapsing all tags to iPhone and iPad, so I understand I might not be in the majority :-)
