Your answer is completely contained within other, better answers. Furthermore, because this is a popular question, a merely acceptable or okayish answer to an ordinary question won't fly.

If the question is an unpopular one with few or no answers, and few views, it's usually OK to post an answer that isn't extremely well-reasoned or justified, especially if it's difficult to be 100% certain about the answer due to the nature of the question. But this particular question is very answerable with a lot of explanatory information, and other people have already done that more than adequately.
@OnurTurhan If you specifically feel that there needs to be a point about the fact that RAM is not as dense as an SSD, you can make that point in a comment, not an answer; or, better, you can edit one of the existing good answers and attempt to fit that information in, and explain why that fact helps explain why we don't simply run everything from RAM.
It's not a personal thing, @OnurTurhan. We just require a little more in-depth explanations in answers with questions like these. I hope you understand.
@OliverSalzburg if he also wants to match the filename, \.ini won't match the full file name, just any files that end in .ini... for example in a text file listing file names

According to Microsoft, I need to enter in a different product key to activate Windows 8.1. I type it in, and it just says "That key can't be used to activate this edition of Windows. Please try a different key."
sorry, I haven't tried the preview. I currently only have two computers with Windows installed on them and I need both of them as "production" (stable) boxes.... I gave away my spare systems to family because they were actually pretty good spec

Additional information on key bindings. The statement "it disappears when you press (keys)" does not convey the difference between each key's effect, though all of them make the dialog disappear.

We do, under the covers, to the extent that a given OS supports it. Windows uses "unused" RAM for "disk cache", and I assume that many versions of Linux do too. But there is far too much disk to ever fit it all into RAM. — Daniel R Hicks2 days ago
If we use unused RAM for disk cache, and we use disk for RAM cache, then we in fact dont use neither disk nor RAM?!

I have an HP slimline desktop, after 5 years of steady hard use the fan is running loud and all the time. i simply put ice cubes in a plastic bag, or plastic container, put a towel under it and set it on top of the tower. works for me. i know it will have to be replaced, but having done it before...

Also to everyone asking about elections: no election is currently planned. It's not an inherently annual thing, it's a when-we-need-extra-help thing. Just so nobody's, like, freaking out about how we had one last year this time and haven't yet this year.
