Tomorrow the first ocean cleanup system will be deployed about 25km of the coast of The Hague, The Netherlands. The goal of this small prototype is to test the system under various weather conditions. A full-scale cleanup system with arms of about 100km long is to be deployed in 2020 in the Pacific Ocean somewhere between Hawaii and California.
