I have just found out that we can have a second candidate for the populist bladge. Lubos gives an excellent answer with 82 votes on the question which outwieght the accepted answer by 8 times: physics.stackexchange.com/questions/15/…;

Since the original poster is not active anymore, so the accepted answer cannot be changed

If we give one more vote to the "accepted" answer, then we can reward Lubos with this bladge and I think he deserve that.

I know that it is bad practice to ask someone to vote one a not so good answer this way...

particular when there is a very good answer

but it is a little fun :)

@Limitless It seems to call for discussion, no? Good for chat, however.

I find that the basic pages tend to be very good though occassionaly they take a different approach than I would have chosen.

Pages for cutting edge stuff are very hit or miss. It really depends if someone close to the work is willing to maintain the page or not.

@dmckee I feel that it can be very concrete (not wholly concrete) given the right definitions of "reliable" and "improperly". What do you think?

Your advice, by the way, is nonetheless very substantial. :-)

Once, I upvoted the post (with my eyes closed), I mean - thinking of a guy's credit.

After reading the answer (some 8 mins gone), I thought that it didn't require an upvote.

It looked like it requires some revision - maybe my good,

@CrazyBuddy Yeah, its fine as long as you don't do it too often and you improve everything possible

Really, it's better not to do this to unupvote, but it's not that bad

but it's great if you do it to undownvote (it's the intended purpose of it)

actually, there are the lectures by Feynman himself, and there's the book they made out of someone taking notes in the class he taught - people often refer to both rather ambiguously

@CrazyBuddy the Lenny Susskind lectures are actually great; I have seen all of them starting from the course of theoretical mechanics (Lagrange formalism etc) on to QM, statistical mechanics, relativity, QFT, particle physics, cosmology, and ST of course. No kidding ;-P. The maths is simplified and of course these lectures do not replace a proper course at a university. But they are a great starter to delve into a new topic and he explains amazingly good the most important concepts of the

respective subject. And Lenny Susskind has a cool sense of humor, I often had to LOL when watching these lectures because he can be funny as hell :-D. I'm actually rewatching his last two courses.

@CrazyBuddy If you look at the bottom of Lenny Susskind's Wikipedia Page you can find linkes to all the courses he has given. There are such introductary lectures about all topics in theoretical physics. I hope your exam went well, enjoy your vacations ;-).
