@KeithYong why wouldn't you ask why conventions exists? Car conventions, home appliance conventions? they sound even more ludicrous standalone than one that involves a story like star-trek or something. Conventions obviously serve a demand that actually exists

Q: Why didn't we hear of Pilaf anymore after S04 of Dragon Ball?

In the original Dragon Ball, Pilaf gathers the Dragon Balls in S01, but only thanks to Goku and Bulma (Mai and Shu were totally useless). @KeithYong Well there are several reasons for that.

For me, I like meeting the new people with the same interests, and they offer products I can not regularly get, besides those conventions. Furthermore there are some fun activities.

For my girlfriend it's a whole different story. She likes to craft, and likes anime. And grew into creating cosplays. And making something awesome is nice and all. But being able to display it to people that find it 'amazing' just adds a little something of satisfaction as well.

On the hot network questions page, site icons are showing 48px versions in 32px sizes: I know there are 32px versions because I recently posted another bug report and looked through all of them. If you replace 48 with 32 in img src, everything will look fine:
