i've just been thinking, when identification-request is used there is a pop up box which has a link to how to do the reverse image search. should we instead have a single Meta post which links to this, the Guidelines and anything else related to what we do with ID Request (ie. when to use and not use other tags with id requests, how to handle hentai id requests etc.) and use this instead.

so currently we have "Are you looking to identify the subject of an image? Try using Reverse Image Search first!", insted we have something like "Please read how to use this tag to help avoid getting down-votes/closed"

so yeh, just got a call from another place i applied to. it seems all these web developer positions i have been applying to seem to focus on front end development such as static html pages and WordPress themes. nothing really in what i call programming but at this time i ain't being picky

@nhahtdh no, but I'd think the real problem there is with the quantity, not with the individual questions themselves. If the OP posted at a rate of 1 q/d or less, I wouldn't have much issue with it. Similarly, I would have issue if someone posted 100+ questions about a single series in a few days, even if the questions themselves were okay.

@ton.yeung well just from what i did at my last job it was more outputting data from a database. just from the outset i ended up doing more work using angular than i could have done if i just did a javascript ajax call to a php page to return the results in XML and use a javascript loop to output

I think my biggest issue with the criteria is that if you take them literally, something like this is a valid question:

But a question with a full plot summary or a very good image depicting many characters might not be a valid question, even though those are presumably much easier to answer.

I don't know. Honestly I don't see ID requests as much of a problem, or at least not the problem we should be focusing on. With that said, I thought I had a good method, but it ended up not working particularly well once I factored in statistics involving deleted questions.

Too much compression, which makes the change in character less understandable

I would love another season of Sakurasou, but the LN has ended, so the chances are slim
