@vervet Very funny! I was reviewing a passenger list the other day and noticed that the people's last residence was not the one I was expecting? They came from Devon originally, but the last residence given in the manifest is Portsmouth. So --

if my question is about when they moved from Devon to Hampshire, that is a migration question. If my question is about the transition from England to the USA, that could be an immigration question, but only SOME of the people stayed permanently in the USA.
