The handwriting in the admission register I'm looking at this morning is clear and consistent, and there's a column indicating the student's previous school if this is not their first enrollment. Combined with the parents' name, this provides a link back to the family's prior residence. What a tremendous resource for anyone whose family has a school-aged child during this period.
