When I put it in the outlet it "popped" with some oily gray smoke. Honestly I thought that the voltage rating on the capacitor meant you could feed at least that much voltage through it, but clearly I'm missing something fundamental.
I am glad I tried this with a rubber gripped wrench.
in my test folder i've a composer.json of my own definition, I used jslint as an example dependency. My test subfolder now has a lock file and vendor subdir with an autoloader and jslint in there
the code is about 80% identical to the Install commands execute method in composer

Is there some sort of cache or something for registered widget areas?
I've removed the code which registers the widget areas, and unregistered these widget areas, but they just keep appearing under WP ADMIN -> APPEARANCE -> WIDGETS
