Q: What constitutes proof of relationship/intention to marry for a UK immigration visa?

unorthodoxplatypusBeing disabled, I don't really have to worry so much about funds or some of the more complicated issues with getting my partner over to the UK (from the USA). But there is one thing that concerns and confuses us: Proof of relationship/intention to marry. Would it help if we booked the marriage b...

Q: How to get from North Wales to Cambridge?

alkamidI'm looking for a fast way of getting from North Wales (30-40km radius from Dolgellau) to Cambridge on a Sunday evening by public transport. I found a train that takes 6h, with a change in Birmingham and London. Is there a quicker way?

Aren't scheduled flights technically public transport as well?

12:02 PM
@JoErNanO +1, that's a FINE answer. Please answer all the rest of the visa questions! More like that!
@JonathanReez Yes! Plus the ferries

@Relaxed, we had the "Orwellian Shift Effect", telling an OP that it was off-topic on TSE and then answering their question on Expats! It's funny.

Not sure I understand
Another thing I don't understand is precisely why people from India (and apparently only people from India) feel compelled to write the word “visa” in uppercase
VISA VISA VISA

@Relaxed Sampling error! They are the ones with endless visa problems that show up wanting help getting it unsnarled.

You're right, it makes a lot of sense!
So it might not be specific to India, still not a reason to use uppercase characters!!!! VISA VISA VISA VISA‽‽‽‽ This is driving me nuts¡¡¡¡
I edit closed questions that are going to be deleted automatically to correct it, you know?
Just for the sake of making them look good during their short lives on the site.

@Relaxed Sadly, and I mean SADLY, our Mjøllnirs only work when the OP tags the question correctly.

:D

@DaveRose, don't delete your answer. I was going to up vote it :(
