I'm sure I'll have a few as I plan for next year. Things didn't go real well this year.

I had some gardening ethic disagreements with my in laws. After that, my heart wasn't in it.

My harvest suffered for it.

@RubberDuck I get all kinds of crap from folks who believe that all chemicals are bad, as I use more in a week (lawns, etc) than most gardeners use in their entire lifetime.

Sometimes you have to live with the fact that some freinds are idealists.

@J.Musser I do tend to stay away from raw chemicals if I can, but I don't judge. If you're cool with eating it, it doesn't bother me. Besides, we all get worse at the local grocery store.

Our issue actually had to do with row planting. I come from an "intensive" gardening culture.

To them it looks too crowded, but in reality I'm planting companions that like to be close to each other.

Generational thing I guess.

@RubberDuck Yeah I don't generally eat the clients lawn grass, and don't treat my own. I only spray here for evil diseases, if necessary.

@LoneWolf Not really anything will grow if the ground is frozen. Kale can often withstand freezing, and is often left out and harvested through the winter. Otherwise, you generally have to go with the seasons, or use a greenhouse.
