I tried and failed two years ago, and last year was the first time I didn't plant in a few years.

@waxeagle We plant every year. Clay soil, often needs help. We put some landscape timbers together to make a raised bed in our front yard where we get the sun.

@MετάEd yeah, all of my soil is pretty much clay which is why my effort two years ago went so poorly (plus a late start and locating it in a part of the yard I rarely venture to). It was more than I was able to do last year to keep the grass mown :(

@waxeagle I went to the trouble of collecting a soil sample and have never sent it in.
