The consensus seems to be that we should keep it, but I had suggested changing it to edition-comparison
Is that something a mod could possibly do?

@Thunderforge As far as I know, mods don't have any special tools for retagging. You just have to do it the old-fashioned way
One option is to create the new tag, then propose the existing tag as a synonym of the new tag. That should switch them all over at once, but it takes time for synonym proposals to be voted on and accepted
