This is cool. Al Hatorah customizable online Mikraot Gedolot, so far only on Sefer Bereishit. There's other cool stuff on the rest of the website.

Because tag excerpts don't get to the front page when edited, I'm posting here a pointer to a possibly controversial (but I think correct) edit I made. cc @CharlesKoppelman who made and @DoubleAA who approved the preceding edit to the same tag excerpt.

@msh210 Consistent with my intuition, seeing the tag name.

4:41 PM
@IsaacMoses The preceding edit or mine is consistent with your intuition?

5:29 PM
@msh210 Yours.

5:47 PM
@msh210 What about חול המועד? Also, this tag is somewhat interesting in that weekday is only one possible translation of Chol that could be used in a tag. Kind of a grey area all around.

6:04 PM
@Yishai It's a good thing the tag is hyphenated in this case, so that people don't start using it on their sand questions.

@IsaacMoses heh. Or other secular-stuff questions. Like limude chol (which includes but is certainly not limited to the study of sand).
@Yishai Chol hamoed is explicitly chol in its name. It's the chol of the moed. Anyway, the original version of that tag excerpt excluded chol hamoed: I didn't change that. (Or, arguably, the original version included it. Anyway, I didn't change that.)

@msh210 Whether or not the tag originally had the following scope, I think the simplest criterion to use in this context is 'days without a formal prohibition on labor".

@DoubleAA So rosh chodesh is out but chol hamoed is in, you think.

10:19 PM
@msh210 Yes. I much prefer the Mishna's name of "moed" without the "chol[o shel]". Too many people go about thinking chol hamoed is a random workday with some extra prayers in the morning.

11:17 PM
@DoubleAA Sounds like a good one, though I'm uncommitted to it. In any event, I don't see anyone yet arguing/opining for inclusion of rosh chodesh. Anyone?
