@Sarah i would put you in touch with some Karaites, but a lot of Christians think that Karaites would be more in line with the "scripturalist" mentality. And while it's true in some ways, they are more like Jews than they are like Christians. Their interpretations often go into more extreme versions of normal Jewish practice

Am I allowed to ask a question like, 'Is someone who believes in x-idea considered halachically an apikoros?' Is it too divisive?

@ephraimhelfgot We have a number of those questions already. I'll just add that if you are looking for answers from specific communities in Judaism (eg. those who do/don't harbor the belief in question, or a variant thereof) you should so specify.
For instance, you may be interested how a certain kind of Zionist views those who don't accept that the state is Reishit Tzemichat Geulateinu. If so, just specify so you don't get answers telling you how certain Chassidic groups think it's not heretical to not believe that.
