Sorry about that. The promotion had ended at 2012-08-08 12:00 AM UTC (i.e. no challenge completions were awarded after that time), but our logic for removing the bulletin announcement and banners was a day off. They have been removed now, and prize winners will be announced shortly.

@Moshe Not that it's really on-topic here, but that interface is problematic. The table approach makes it seem like the three columns are somehow related to each other, but they aren't.

Please, can @matt or anyone give me an Apple definition of what's in the Transparent App Lifecycle (sometimes known as TAL)? In the past I understood that TAL comprised auto save, versions and resume but after reading tidbits.com/article/13187 I'd like to be more sure about Apple's definition.

The man page for talagent mentions TAL but doesn't define it.
