Hi everybody. Sorry to bother your. Just dropping by to ask an opinion to other Apple users. Just moved to an IMac (before I used a pc which decided to self destruct along with its power unit) and I am somehow confused about security and such.
I get that Mac do not have know viruses (just a few Trojans and such) so there is no strictly need for a 24/7 antivirus, but I am wondering about the rest.
On my old pc I used to use Kaspersky, which along with the antivirus feature provided many other "benefits" like link checking, spam filter, anti-banner, anti-phishing, filtering features, track-stopper, firewall and such. I am wondering if anyone could suggest something similar or I should avoid that.
To be more specific, for example I have seen many cases of infected banners even on sites like dailymotion/ youtube (which should be trustworthy) and usually those ended in browsers attempts to download/access Trojan and such. Wondering if Mac is still so vulnerable to redirect and phishing.
