Time to cut that down

Hi. I thought I'd share something I just learned exists as an internal application here where I work.

It has been running here for years, made by a developer who left some time ago (and nobody missed it).

Recently, the admin told the maintainer that there is one user who can never log in.

Enter works, the lower login button works. The upper one reloads the page (!)

Oh, and the cherry on top: it's not going to be fixed.

The reason: there will be a new application replacing this one, to be rolled out next year. If we repair this one to work well, users are more likely to resist the change and declare the new application terrible.

And the scary part is: I agree with this logic.
