@user2414724 you should explain the intended functionality/user experience

@ʞɹɐzǝɹ Browser automation. It should provide a IDE like experience. The user should be able to open and close projects, edit code and run the code with basic debugger functionality. It is very functional, and I think easy to use. But it doesn't look good.
Is the distances between the elements not right, the color of the seperator. I don't know how I can make this look nicer. What can I do, ʞɹɐzǝɹ?

that's not really a UX question, it's a design question
design affects the overall experience, but UX is bigger than that
first you have to think about how the user can get at the functionality to solve their problems

@Dan Hulme That's interesting. You are right. I think that the problems of the users are solved and that the program provide value to the user. How should I think about the design part then?

if you can't manage it yourself and need an expert to look at it, work out what is wrong and how to improve it, then you should hire a designer

I am currently don't have the resources to hire a designer.
I could wait and work more to get the money

you could make friends with one and try to blag a "mate rate", or barter your services for theirs

If I had the money, any recommendation who I could hire, or what should be the criteria for searching people on oDesk for example?
@DanHulme Yeah that is a good idea

but basically you want the one-to-one advice of a professional

I added some Icons i.imgur.com/2Z6UPXR.png
Thank you for the help. I will think about it and might need to hire someone.
