I actually tend to go to work for most of the week after one of my kids is born. But that's probably related to the fact that we've always had either my parents or her parents come to help. So I tend to take a week or two off after the relatives leave.

(Which is actually kindof nice, since I have a week of "I'm going to be gone next week" to prepare)
