@KarlBielefeldt I've been smartphone only for the majority of the time for the past week or so, and I don't see that changing any time soon, since I've started a new job and am no longer consulting.

I'll do what I can, but I should have been replaced as a moderator about 6 weeks ago.

@RoryAlsop, I pinged Tim and didn't get a response yet. If I were him, I would do paternity leave through Christmas if I could. I just wish someone else would cover his duties while he was out. This site can get by with one mod under normal circumstances, but it's far from ideal.

@KarlBielefeldt Well, I'll pop in more frequently. 10k tools are reasonably useful.

@RoryAlsop Honestly I haven't heard from him since before his baby was born. Someone linked a chat message where he said he was responding to pings, but very slowly because he was on paternity leave.

I'm not sure when it was supposed to end, but I got the feeling it was possibly through the end of the year.

@KarlBielefeldt I'll do what I can. I'll be home for the actual Christmas holiday (Thursday through Sunday), so I'll at least be able to pop online from a computer a couple of times a day for that part. The rest I'll mostly be on my phone, though.

@KarlBielefeldt Yeah, I'm sorry that I have such limited availability. I had talked with Tim back when he first started looking for an extra mod, to let him know that I was likely going to have to step down in the near future. However, I told him that I'd hold on and keep working at it as long as I could.

Then a few weeks later, things got really bad at my work, and I let him know I would have to step down as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I suspect that was the week he went out for paternity leave.
