Is there a way to page someone in to here? @PandaLion98 I don't want to mess up the comments on my q/a any further

@AndySmith Hi :)
Yeah, sure.

Hello

So, to give a concrete example - I wrote this blog post a few years ago: andrewmichaelsmith.com/2013/08/raspberry-pi-wi-fi-honeypot
And now a few years later as rasbian has changed, it's a bit out of date
It's also a bit hard to follow guides that are like "change this to Y", "change this to X"
What I'd really like to be able to do is just say "Hey, download this image and it will work"
I could totally set it up on one pi and clone the image, and that would work great
But from a maintainability point of view - if I want to add features or fix bugs - it becomes tricky
So then, fine, we say I write a script that sets it up. I can fix bugs and add features to that script
But the feedback loop is too slow - to test that script I need to wipe my pi / create a new sd card each time, copy the script and re-run
I'd also like to be able to have this thing continuously integrated - have a build server generate my images for me. So, let's say I find a bug that I know how to fix - I want to be able to do it without access to a pi. I just change my scripts and re-build (like they do with raspbian) and my image is there.

Oh yeah. That sounds reasonable.

I basically want to be able to treat this image as a proper piece of software that I release. Not some hobby thing I tinker round with to get working for my particular use case
Cool :-)
