So that Pi Zero project I had been working on? Yah, totally fried the $30 power supply that I just got. (I was going to post a new video on it, showing how much smaller it was now.) So I had to buy another... I really hate hardware projects. I think this one will be my last.
I am planning to use a triplet of RPi GPIO pins as an additional bit-banged I2C bus on my RPi. This will be run at a lower than typical rate (and level-shifted via a 3.3 to 5.0 V I2C shifter unit) so that it can work over the distance necessary to be the back-bone for a Home Automation control b...
@PandaLion98 Actually it turns out we are both Github users so I may raise an "Issue" there once the hardware (several PCB modules with a PCF8574 and some support circuitry costing turns up - in a couple of days)...
@Jacobm001 Not really, just edging slowly towards it - but did get strunk & write - didn't understand the reference as it is an Americanism - I originally thought it was a deliberate mis-smelling of "struck (out) and (re)-write"! 8-)
