In that question the above mentioned tags were removed and replaced by (site-promotion).

Would tags such as social-media or social-networks or site-promotion useful on our meta? Or do we already have a tag sutiable for such questions?
I agree that separate tags facebook, twitter, etc. would be too specific.

site-promotion seems good to me.
Not sure about social-media and social-networks. While they do give additional information on what the question is about, I'm not sure if they're redundant.
