@Chippies DoT is too slow, most things are dead by the time they get a proper chance to be DoTTed. Except when I run in two or three packs that result in a painfull affix combo.

@Arperum yeah, I can see it being bad for a crusader

as a WD though, I got pets and I got locust swarm that spreads through half the map in one cast if mobs are dense enough :P

I use two gems for now, second ring doesn't have socket. and no greed encounter yet. even though I killed 100+ goblins. And got two rainbow portals.

@Arperum rainbow portals come from rainbow goblins, not treasure goblins

which are sort of the same, but they look different and the name is different

You can just associate the face with a requirement to ask "...what did you do?"
