The real interesting part about that study is that Portal 2 was compared to Lumosity, a fairly popular brain development application, rather than, say, Solitaire.

@Powerlord I've never actually played the game, but the songs keep coming up in my "Gaming" Pandora channel. Kingdom Hearts still has best music, though
I mean, there's the PS1 version with the new cutscenes and music box, the DS version with the extra dungeon, and the 3DS remake with the 3D animation. Oh wait, I made up that last one.
I've never played Kingdom Hearts and noticed when the music changed. But when the climax hits in Monster Hunter, there's most definitely an emotional high.
I don't remember what the first big enemy was after the Great Jaggi, but I do know that it took me all of 15 seconds to realize that me killing a Great Jaggi was not adequate preparation for what was happening to me right now.
@Yuuki it could do what other mmos do and we just get stuff as they translate, until we eventually catch up. happened a lot with korean MMO's coming stateside, but now we are pretty on par with them last i checked
The other problem is the rate of return. Porting MH Frontier would be a big investment. And MMOs in the West have typically failed due to the elephant in the room.
@Yuuki Well, having a game where I can keep all my stuff, with all the new monsters, would beat having to restart every time a new Monster Hunter game comes out.

@DwarfSlice Also I'm not quite so bitter about the last levels not unlocking until you pretty much perfect everything, since the last levels are insane.

I mean. just being sponsored by a porn company doesn't mean your jersey will have porn on it or anything. its just your funds are coming from that industry
If that's what Christianity is to you, you're doing it wrong. Christianity is not supposed to be about "Oh I'm against a thing so everything and everybody related to the thing is morally wrong". In particular, in regards to pornography, it's "I'm against this thing so I'm not going to participate in it."

I'm not sure how the sponsorship would affect viewers and such. by watching team YP play are you supporting youporn indirectly? I'm not exactly sure how it all works
@Rapitor Generally, no. The sponsor pays to be a sponsor. The reason that's worth it is because there's a large audience of people who sees their logo a lot.
They "lose" money, directly, and potentially gain money indirectly.
@StrixVaria yeah, but if that were the case the logo would be YouPorn and not YP. they are actively trying to just sneak their way in and not plaster all over the place who they are. that could either be good or bad.
