I don't flag nearly as much as I used to. once you get to 20k+ there's very little reason to every flag anything. You can handle most things yourself.

Comments and spam are the only thing I ever really flag anymore, on a regular basis anyways.

I'll use mod only flags sometimes, when there's an edit war going on.

There's no official app, but reddit is open source and has a pretty good API which means anyone can build an app for it
